Before you send a sermon
- How long does it take?
- Sample Chapter: seven days. Pocket Book: about six weeks from your first Story Session™. Series and Full Books: eight to ten weeks. Your revision turnaround is the biggest variable.
- What if the church owns my sermons?
- Some churches do, as work for hire. Our agreement includes a simple release, and for staff pastors a one-line acknowledgment from the church. This is a part of the process that will protect you later.
- Can a church give this to its pastor?
- Yes, and it's one of the best uses of it. A board, elder team, deacon body, or staff can commission the Sample Chapter as a surprise, then fund the book from the church budget or a group gift. October, Pastor Appreciation Month, is the natural moment, and Christmas is the second one. We handle the invoicing to the church and the work with the pastor.
- Do I have to be a "writer"?
- No. You have to be a preacher or a teacher, which you are. The writing is already done. What's left is shaping, which is our job, and approving, which is yours.
- Can I sell it at church?
- Yes. You order author copies at print cost through your own Amazon account, usually $2.50 to $4.50 a copy depending on size, and sell or give your book to whoever you like.
- What about a workbook, hardcover, audiobook, or bookstores?
- A companion workbook or small group study guide can be built from the same material at any tier, and it's the piece churches actually order in bulk. Hardcover is included in the Full Book and an add-on elsewhere. Audiobook in your own voice is an add-on at any tier. Bookstore and library distribution comes through IngramSpark in the Full Book.
- Why not just use an AI book tool?
- You can, for about a hundred dollars, and you'll get a book that reads like every other one it made that week. The Voice Print™, the Story Sessions™, and an editor who knows which story matters are the difference between a book your people finish and one they set down on page twelve.
