How Crafton Press text messages work

Crafton Press helps pastors turn their sermons into books. When you work with us, text messages are the quickest way to confirm a step, ask a question about your chapter, or remind you about a call. This page explains exactly what we send, how you say yes, and how you say stop.
What we text you
Project messages (if you've opted in on a form or checkout): confirmation that we received your sermon, questions from your editor about your chapter, delivery notices, appointment reminders for your intro call or Chapter Review, and replies to questions you text us.
Occasional updates (only if you ticked the separate marketing box): Crafton Press news and offers for pastors, a few times a year at most.
Message frequency varies by project. Message and data rates may apply.
How you opt in
We only text people who have asked us to. There are three ways to do that:
- Tick the consent box on a Crafton Press form. Every form on craftonpress.com that asks for a phone number (Send my sermon, Commission a book, and the form at the bottom of this page) includes the optional, unchecked consent box shown below. You can submit any form without ticking it.
- Tick the consent box at checkout. The same box, with the same wording, appears when you purchase the Sample Chapter. Texting consent is never required to buy anything from us.
- Text us first. If you send a message to (816) 307-1781, we'll reply in that conversation and send a one-time confirmation that includes how to stop.
This is the exact consent language on every Crafton Press form and checkout page. Both boxes are optional and unchecked until you tick them.
How to stop, and how to get help

- Reply STOP to any message. You'll get one final text confirming you're unsubscribed, and nothing further. You can also email [email protected] and we'll remove you by hand.

- Reply HELP to any message, email [email protected], or call (816) 307-1781.
- To start again
- Reply START, or tick the consent box on any of our forms.
Your number stays with us
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number and your SMS opt-in consent are not sold, rented, or shared with anyone for their own use. The only parties that handle your number are the service providers who deliver messages on our behalf, and they may use it only to deliver our messages. Full details are in our Privacy Policy and section 10 of our Terms and Conditions.
You must be 18 or older to opt in. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
